It’s Summer and that Means the Fabulous “Beach Boys” Tribute Performance at Cal State

"Uncle Sam" can't wait for the Beach Boys tribute band concert either. He's a real fan....well, perhaps that's an exaggeration but everyone else there will love that show!

If you love the beach sounds of the famous “Beach Boys” then you need to be at Cal State San Bernardino on July 16 for a Beach Boys Tribute Band, “Keepin’ the Summer Alive” performs at 7 p.m. One of the  great things about the summer music program at the college is that all the concerts are free. Be sure to take a blanket, lawn chair and/or a picnic basket. If you forget the picnic basket or you don’t feel like cooking don’t worry because the concessions stands are available. Parking is free and is available in Lot D.

The performances are held at the college’s Lower Commons Plaza area. I’m sure there are a lot of people who attend these summer events so if you’re smart you’ll be there early. Take a book to read or lots of toys for the kids (if you take them) so they don’t get bored and you can be sure you’ll have a place to sit.

Following the “Beach Boys” Tribute “Latin Flair” will provide the music on July 23 followed by the Claremont Voodoo Society on July 30.

For more information about the Summer Wednesday concerts, contact the Coussoulis Arena office at (909) 537-7360.

Remember, summer is for fun so be sure to have a great time and remember, You”ll Have Fun, Fun, Fun ’til  Daddy Takes the T-Bird Away!”
