Are you a runner? If so, you need to be in Crestline for the 35th annual Run Through the Pines on August 9. This great event includes a 5K RunWalk, Race Walk, Kids Fun Run, a 10K, music, chip timing and computerized race results.
The course around Lake Gregory is always patrolled by emergency communications. All participant will earn a free event t-shirt and overall winners in the various categories will receive trophies.
Come up and enjoy the mountain air…it’s a lot cooler in the mountains than it is in communities “off the mountain.”
The course includes a paved roadway around Lake Gregory and runners will have a lovely view of the mountains and lake as they jog or “whiz” by. At an elevation of 4,720 feet the mountain breezes will provide much cooler temperatures.
