Come and enjoy the hand-clapping, foot-stomping great music of “Grits and Grady,” the exciting and fun bluegrass group of talented musicians from Green Valley Lake. They are incredibly talented and you won’t be able to keep your hands from clapping.
In addition to the great music the event will include mouth-watering BBQ pulled pork and chicken sandwiches and for those who want a vegetarian sandwich they will also be available. The award-winning Woodworth Vineyards from Temecula will be on hand for a wine tasting event and you’ll even be able to purchase your wine of choice.
This fun summer event has something for everyone because children can enjoy free crafts and carnival games while the adults enjoy Bingo.
The first ever St. Richard’s Chili Cookoff will feature several chili entries. Participants can buy a taste and then vote for the “People’s Choice Award.” In addition, silent and live auctions will be held during the event including the opportunity to win a fabulous dinner prepared and served by “The Pilgrims” from the Holy Land.
All are welcome to attend this fun event and there will be fun for all ages.
The outreach Committee is collecting “gently used” shoes for developing nations in cooperation with Donate Your Old Shoes, a San Diego based charity whose members get the shoes to needy adults and children. If you have shoes that don’t fit any longer or you aren’t wearing be sure to take your donated shoes to the BBQ so they can be donated to someone who may be in desperate need of what you have “outgrown.”
