If you’re concerned about crime in the mountain communities you need to attend an upcoming Neighborhood Watch meeting in the Twin Peaks Courtroom (adjacent to the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station). This informative event will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27.
The sheriff’s department has been vigilant in their efforts to keep burglaries to a minimum so they’re asking you to attend this special meeting and learn how you can help. Whether your neighborhood has experienced crime in the past or if you have a crime-free neighborhood that you’d like to keep that way, this meeting will be very helpful because the sheriff’s department has new program information you should know. Take the first step in getting involved in keeping not only your own residence and family safe but your neighborhood as well .
Remember, crime doesn’t always visit “someone else’s door” so help yourself and your neighborhood by attending this meeting and learning how you can be an effective and alert neighbor.
