This fun event will be held Saturday, November 29 from 2 to 9 p.m. This will be a potluck event with food served at 2:30 p.m. Late arrivals are welcom so guests will be eating on and off all day (called grazing, to some!) so if you can’t show up right at 2 p.m. don’t worry about it because they’ll be lots of fun, lots of great people to meet and celebrate with your new-found friends.
The yummy event will include deep-fried turkey and dressing. Guests are asked to take candied yams, Jello Salad, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, cranberry dishes and steamed vegetables. If you have a favorite dish you prepare that would “fit any occasion” that would be welcome, as well.
The day will include a white elephant gift exchange. Everyone is asked to choose an item that you have at home (and aren’t using) and enclose it in a bag as part of the fun. If you don’t have a gift to bring “you” can be the gift so don’t let that stop you from attending.
Regular members as well as family and friends who traditionally attend the Mountain Singles event do not have to RSVP but “newbies,” so to speak, should call (909) 744-8561 to let them know you’d like to attend.
Have fun, enjoy the holiday festivities and get to know some new friends…..that’s what this group is all about.
Have fun. Enjoy the day!
