Don’t forget to attend the Dec. 6 open house that is being hosted by the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District at the district office on Hwy.18 in Rimforest that’s located close to the Valero gas station.
This fun annual event will include games, crafts, holiday treats for the kids as well as drawings for Snow Valley Mountain Resort tickets. Rumor has it that Santa himself has put this fun open house on his schedule and he’s even agreed to have his picture taken with children so be sure to take your camera. You might be out of luck if you forget your camera because Santa doesn’t have one. Perhaps he needs to put that on his own wish list. Be sure to “visit” the even’ts holiday bake sale. The revenue from this portion of the open house will support the 2015 “Spring into Summer” recital.
This holiday event is always fun and there is free hot chocolate and coffee. These warm drinks which might help people who attend the annual Blue Jay Christmas Parade prior to the district open house and have cold noses that need warming. Somehow hot chocolate and coffee should do wonders!
For information on the open house call the Rim of the World Recreation and Park District at (909) 337-PARK. Someone will be happy to answer questions on this special holiday event. Who knows? You might be talking to Santa himself!
