Head-on Accident on Hwy. 330 Injures Two People

California_Highway_Patrol_patchThe California Highway Patrol has released information on a head-on accident on January 17 on Hwy. 330.

According to the report at 8:25 p.m. CHP officers from the Arrowhead Area station in Running Springs responded to a major injury collision. One of the drivers, identified as Mr. Thomas, was driving a V1 Dodge south on the highway. A “Ms.Boudreau” was driving a Toyota V-1 north at the same time. The CHP investigation showed that Mr. Thomas crossed over the double yellow lines and drove into the northbound lane and into the path of the vehicle driven by Ms. Boudreau and a head-on collision occurred.

Both vehicles came to a rest on the highway. The car driven by Mr. Thomas was blocking the northbound lane of the highway and he fled the scene on foot. Ms. Boudreau was trapped in her vehicle and she had to be extricated by emergency personnel. Mr. Thomas was located and he was taken into custody.

Both drivers were transported by  (American Medical Response)  ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center for medical treatment.

    1. I don’t know what time it was. The information came from the CHP and the time wasn’t in the press release. They have a lot of new people up have and I’m going to talk with the person in charge of press releases because “he or she” could use some help. I hope they will take my suggestions and with my good intentions. The person who wrote it isn’t familiar with doing them I don’t think so hopefully they’ll take my suggestions with a good heart, so to speak.
