Caltrans logo1:30 p.m. February 2-Just received an e-mail from Caltrans with an update to problems that (are) and (will) affect traffic in the Inland Empire….

1. A two semi-truck collision on the west bound freeway east of Dillon road in Coachella-one semi is engulfed in flames (hauling chickens) the other is hauling bees which have escaped and are “aggravated.” All lanes opened at 1:20 p.m. but hazmat cleanup will continue in the median for a few hours.

2. Westbound 10 at Hargrave #4 lane closed for emergency bridge repair on Hargrave overpass. Lanes will reopen at 2 p.m. today. Pavement repairs were made to the bride deck at the joint.

3. SR 60 at Theodore. The Theodore overpass remains closed due to bridge hit last Friday. The bridge inspection has been rescheduled until Tuesday, February 3. The closure duration will be determined until after the inspection. The inspection takes place between 8:30 a.m. and noon. Alternating lane closures will take place on the west bound during the inspection hours.
