Motorcyclist on Hwy. 330 Sustains Major Injuries in Crash Feb. 15

California_Highway_Patrol_patchAccording to Officer McGrath of the Arrowhead Area CHP office at approximately 4:30 p.m. Arrowhead Area CHP officers responded to a solo motorcycle collision  on February 15.

According to information from the Highway Patrol’s Running Springs office, officers responded to the scene of the accident.

The CHP reported that the victim, Victor Rosendo Barba, 36, of Costa Mesa, was riding a 2013 Yamaha motorcycle south on Hwy. 330. As he was approaching a left hand curve in the roadway he began to apply the brakes but he lost control of the motorcycle and collided into the guard rail.

Mr. Barba sustained major injuries including a fractured pelvis, fractured femur, a fractured tibia and fibia. He was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
