Okay all you “Wake the Bard” fans out there and soon-to-be-fans….it’s March so that means leprechauns, four-leaf clovers and great music from Wake the Bard, the incredible Celtic music group from the San Bernardino Mountain communities.
The original couple who had such a great deal to do with the formation of this great group, Sandi and Pat Huckaby, will be joined by Liz Chesney on flute and Chris Chesney on fiddle, mandolin and bodran. If you’re a “Wake the Bard” fan (as I am) or if you’re looking for some St. Paddy’s fun, this is your event.
On March 28 go to the Lake Inn in Green Valley Lake from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
On Tuesday, March 17 they will be entertaining at Killarney’s Pub on Hwy 173 in Temecula from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then they will be playing at Boondocks Pub at 100 E. Harrison in Corona from 7 to 11 p.m. (Talk about a busy day, but faith ‘n begorra, they have lots of energy!)
On March 15 from 3 to 6 p.m. they will bring their Irish sounds to the Pines Lakefront Restaurant at 350 Alden Street in Big Bear Lake. Look for them from 3 to 6 p.m.
Don’t forget to wear green! If you haven’t attended one of their events you don’t know what you’re missing. It is always impossible not to tap your feet and clap your hands to this classic Irish music so come and enjoy! I promise you’ll love it!
