Veteran ID Cards Available for County Vets

soldiers holding flagThe San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors has recently approved issuing Military Veteran ID cards to veterans.

The main purpose of the card is to ensure that veterans are easily and surely recognizable to any area merchant that offers a benefit to veterans who patronize their business Many local merchants already offer various benefits to veterans, such as a discount on purchases, a free item or preferred status.

This card allows the veteran to bypass carrying a copy of their military discharge papers to prove their veteran status.

Honorably-discharged veterans can apply for an ID card from the County V.A offices in Hesperia, Rancho Cucamonga or San Bernardino.
