Thanks to the recent snowstorms that hit the southern California mountains Snow Valley Ski Resort is enjoying its best snow of the season. If you’re looking for some great spring skiing get your poles, your boots, your parka and your skis and head up to Snow Valley for some great skiing.
Mother Nature has had a very “interesting” year this winter but she decided to take pity on the ski area and let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. So it did last week…a lot.
Snow Valley is the oldest of the ski areas in the San Bernardino Mountains and because they are smaller than some of the other ski areas there is a very “personal, small town atmosphere” about this longtime ski resort that is only five miles from the community of Running Springs.
The skiing is great, the weather couldn’t be better so come on up and enjoy the great snow.
This longtime ski area is located about five miles from the town of Running Springs, right on H wy. 18. Current conditions (listed today)are great for late winter and spring skiing. The most recent storm dropped between 10 and 14 inches of fresh new snow so there’s plenty of runs and great white snow to make any skier happy!
The average temperature at the ski area is in the 50s so with a jacket you’ll be able to sit outside and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Grab some food or a drink in the restaurant and enjoy the beautiful scenery that will surround you.
