Here comes Peter Cottaintail………straight to the beautiful, historic Tudor House in Lake Arrowhead. While he’s so busy on Easter he will be there to share the Easter fun with everyone on April 5 . In fact, he’s already told the “powers that be” that he’ll hop on over from 2 to 3 p.m. for an Easter Egg Hunt and he’s such an up-to-date bunny that he’s even going to have fun doing “selfies” with the children (ages zero to 150). He loves everyone….what a great bunny!

Come early and enjoy the incredible (and I do mean incredible) Easter Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the Easter Egg Hunt. Of course, magical chefs at this magical historic building will cook up a delicious Easter-themed brunch.

At 5:30 p.m. come and enjoy the fabulous, fun, delightful old great ’50s music, “Easter Parade” with the beautiful music by Irving Berlin. This “always a treasure” movie from the 1940s features the incomparable Fred Astaire, Judy Garland, Peter Lawford and Ann Miller. The movie, of course, is shown in Technicolor, which at that time was almost brand new. Movies in “real” color? Although the Technicolor process was developed in the 1920s it was “honed” and “rehoned” for many years until the first full length Technicolor documentary was produced in 1935. The rest, as they say, is history!Easter bunny and chick

“The fun Easter celebration day will conclude with a 5:30 p.m. showing of the classic Judy Garland/Fred Astaire movie, “Easter Parade.” Without a doubt, with Irving Berlin’s fabulous music this will be an event to remember.

For those who can’t attend the brunch tickets for this delightful movie are $5. All ages are welcome and the fun movie event will include popcorn, movie snacks and a casual menu.

I truly cannot imagine a more fun way to celebrate the end of winter (what winter?) and the arrival of spring than being at this fun event at this beautiful local mountain venue.

My suggestion? Hop on over there and make your reservations for the brunch and then enjoy the Egg Hunt from 2 p.m. to 3  p.m. on Easter Sunday. Stay for the delightful “Easter Parade” movie and then go home and have those great memories for the rest of your life!
