Celebration of Life Set for Santina “Sandy” McCormick

toe-shoesLovely, funny, compassionate, loving Sandy McCormick will be remember by the McCormick family and their friends on Sunday, April 19 from noon until 3 p.m.

Sandy was the mother of Joe McCormick and mother-in-law to Lake Arrowhead Classical Ballet Company Director Sharon McCormick. For those of us who knew here she was such a gem. She donated and volunteered countless hours to the ballet company, particularly during the productions of The Nutcracker. She loved what she did and loved volunteering her time at the studio and during the Christmas holiday season.

The short service will be held (appropriately) at the Dance studio on Sunday, April 19. The service will begin at noon, ministered by Reverend Annie Genato. Cake and coffee will follow the ceremony.

Sandy was such inspiration to so many people and Sharon and Joe look forward to dedicating an afternoon to celebrating her life with their dance “families” and friends.

Sandy truly was one of a kind and I was so lucky to have had long conversations with her about life, love, work, volunteering and other ideas we shared through the years.
