Local Group “Quarter to 3” Playing April 4 in Green Valley Lake

The lake headquarters where you can rent a boat. With a valid fishing license you can also fish on the lake although there is a charge. You would go to the "headquarters" for information. Each Labor Day weekend this part of the lake is central to the annual always-exciting, fun Water Carnival.

If you’d like to hear some singing where you can understand the lyrics you’re going to appreciate the local mountain trio called “Quarter to 3.” The trio will perform at the “Eagles Nest,” a  Green Valley Lake spot from 4 to 7 p.m. This musical event is being held to celebrate the anniversary of the Eagle’s Nest and also to celebrate the Green Valley Lake Market which is owned by Michael Sullens. If you’re extra hungry there will be a delicious mouth-watering BBQ as well as their traditional tavern menu. Having been up there when the BBQ is filled with delicious meat I can only imagine that the BBQ is fabulous. Treat yourself….it’s a big holiday weekend and even though the Easter Bunny is the “big” celebrity this weekend, don’t worry, BBQ rabbit is not on the menu!

The Eagle’s Nest is located directly on Green Valley Lake Road, right in town. Trust me, you’d have to really try to miss it!

Enjoy. Relax. Listen to some great music where you can really understand the lyrics. You might even want to join the singers if there’s an opportunity.
