Longtime U.S. Forest Service forester-geologist Bruce Risher will give a fascinating  talk on the San Bernardino National Forest on Sunday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at Snow Valley.

Sponsored as part of the Rim of the World Historical Society’s interesting lecture series this free event is bound to be fascinating to anyone interested in the history of the enormous San Bernardino National Forest that so many thousands of people call “home.”

Risher is a longtime member and geologist with the forest service and as such he knows a great deal about the local mountain areas and its communities. This is bound to be a very interesting event so come and enjoy. If you’re interested in the history of the fascinating mountain areas we live in don’t miss this presentation.

Snow Valley is located on Hwy. 18 about four miles east of the community of Running Springs.

This event is part of the free winter speakers series through the Rim of the World Historical Society.
