Switzerland’s Special Olympians Coming to Lake Arrowhead!

The Special Olympian athletes will march together in a Special Olympics Host Town parade on Wednesday, July 22 in Blue Jay, along Hwy. 189. The Grand Marshal for this fun event is none other than beautiful singer Gloria Loring. With her beautiful singing voice this is apt to be a highlight of the upcoming event.

The parade will honor the Special Olympics group from Switzerland so get out your leiderhosen and learn to speak a few words of German or Swiss German before they arrive this July.

A fun and very colorful parade will be held on July 22 and you should know (and put it in your datebook) that Hwy. 189 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the day of this exciting event.
