Okay all you baby-boomers……”You’ll be “Dancin’ in the Street” at the “Bus Stop” unless she or he has to “Get ‘Outta This Place” or “My Girl” gets lost with “Bonnie and Clyde” or “The Animals” have found her and said “We Gotta’ get Outta’ this Place” because “She’s Not there” because The Zombies or “The Beatles got her or she’s “Runaway.” Perhaps she’s tired because she’s been “Dancin’ in the Street” too long.
If you recognize all these great long-ago hit songs you’re ready for the 50th Rim of the World Class of 1965 high school reunion. Yep, it’s been 50 years since those crazy kids graduated way back in 1965.
The fun will be held on October 23, 24 and 25. Friday evening there will be a meet and greet at the Tudor House in Lake Arrowhead. (This is where you really have to use your imagination and remember that great girlfriend or boyfriend who so many years later looks (and is) a lot older. Saturday morning guests will go to the Mountain History Museum for a great presentation and tour. (This is going to be another stroll down memory lane so plan to attend.) The Saturday evening banquet will be held at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and the Sunday morning brunch will be at the beautiful Tudor House.
This reunion is a “biggie”…..50 years is a long time so enjoy, have fun, forget that you all have gray hair and don’t look the same. You’ll feel like a teenager again when you start dancing in the streets and just think, you won’t even have mom and dad worrying about your being late. There’s no curfew allowed!
