2015 GVL 4th of July Fun: Uncle Sam Would Have Been Right at Home!

Is this darling girl, with her red, white and blue hair, absolutely adorable on July 4 in Green Valley Lake? The answer to that question is"YES!"

One of my most favorite places in the world is Green Valley Lake in “our” San Bernardino mountains. Each July 4 the town turns red, white and blue and colorful decorations can be found wherever you look. So enjoy, and if you didn’t get up there this year put it on your “bucket list” for next year. Trust me, you’ll enjoy the fascinating climb up Green Valley Lake Road to this small community that is so charming. The next time you hanker for some fun or some quiet time drive up Green Valley Lake Road (off Hwy. 18 near Arrowbear) and spend some time. You’ll love it and set July 4 on your calendar to attend their fabulous parade and all-day fun by (and in) the lake and the local shops and take a look at their fabulous community garden that is located right on Green Valley Lake Road. This venture started just a couple of years ago and it’s been a big success for all involved.

The Eagle Has Landed...at GVL. This great homage to the beautifully carved eagle in GVL and the eagle who loves the community.
