Come on, ladies, we’re all fashionistas in some ways and Soroptimist International of the Rim of the World Communities is hosting a great new way to satisfy your “Fashionista craving.”
On Wednesday, May 15 they will host a “Fashionistas’ Clothing and More Swap” at the Burnt Mill Beach Club from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Out with the old (as long as it’s in good condition) and in with the new (what you can “trade” for something new at the swap). Clothes, shoes, home decor and accessories are all looking for a new home and will be accepted for “swapping.” Take your “gently used, clear clothes and swap them for someone else’s gently used, clean clothes. Be sure to take your clothes on hangers.
Here’s the plan: You can take up to 15 of your items and this entitles you to the same number of the treasures someone else brought to swap. The “swapping” is all free. Your “new” closet items will be so happy to have a new “home” and you’ll be delighted with some new clothes in your closet. At the same time you’ll be glad to pass along your clothes or accessories to a new “owner.”
The admission to this unique fundraiser is $15 and it includes fabulous appetizers, desserts wine and a whole lot of fun. Even if you don’t take anything to trade you will still have a wonderful time! The desserts alone are worth the price of admission.
This event sounds like a “win-win” for everyone………………..and it will be! This sounds like WAY too much fun so come enjoy and support Soroptimist. They do so much for the mountain communities so here’s a fantastic, new fundraiser. They make money and you waltz home with new items.
